Unused Concept 2 by Sanaril Unused Concept 2 by Sanaril
(part 2 of 4)

A while ago I did a lot of concept work for a book pitch (a LOT). Unfortunately, the pitch was delayed and delayed and now I'm not sure anything will ever come of it. But I learned quite a bit through the process and had fun with what I accomplished. It's been well over a year since then so I thought I'd post some of what I did as I always find it interesting to look back at the process from rough concepts to the final design (larger image in the bottom corner).

Me? No! never, but that would be cool though :) These are from a graphic novel pitch that as far as I know is dead for now, but hopefully not forever.

Both of these sheets look great, Alison. Hooray for learning experiences. *said in a somewhat rueful tone*
